My Goal

My goal for the year is get more sleep during school nights and stay asleep. Over the summer, I had been going to sleep as late (or as early) as 4 am! This completely messed up my internal clock which told me to wake up at 1 pm. I knew this had to stop so therefore I had to start as soon as the first two weeks of August came. I can do this by going to sleep at an earlier time such as 9:00 pm. By the end of September, I will be able to wake up at 5:30 am easily. This is because of my conditioning throughout the month as I continue to live up to my goal. By the end of October, I will be able to go to bed at 9:30 pm and be completely asleep by 10:30 pm. When this Health Class is completed, I want to proceed with my efforts by continuing to sleep early while have being done with all of my homework and home tasks. Many obstacles stand in my way when it comes to an objective like this. This includes texting my friends, watching my favorite shows, and videogames. By recording my shows on my DVR, this solves my problem with the TV. During the night, I can put my phone on silent, then if someone texts me, I can tell them that I am sleeping and they’ll understand. Videogames can of course wait until the weekend because they do not come before getting an education. To conclude, school is very tough and even getting to school on time is the main aspect of getting an education.
